Tried to solve the problem of boho rainbow designs that look great as a graphic but stitch out flat and boring. This one has 4 separate arch bands and each one has its own texture. The outermost is a blush base with black leopard spots, the next is brown with white dot accents, then a plain dusky mauve, then the innermost in mustard tan satin. A small filled heart sits right at the bottom centre where the arch ends, and be kind in a loose flowing cursive fills the lower half below the arch.
7 colour changes, which is a lil more involved than a single-colour project but nothing overwhelming if you lay out your thread sequence in advance. 5 sizes from 2.66 wide to 6.18 wide, heights 3.01 to 7.01 inches. The big one hits 31,389 stitches and density of 725 means youre getting realy substantial coverage. You need a firm cutaway stabiliser for anything garment-related at this stitch count, floating can cause shifting on the leopard band where the density spikes around the spot outlines. industry software digitising handles the spot placement so they tile evenly and dont bunch at the curve of the arch.
Ive had teachers order this for their classroom reading corner pillows and parents do it for nursery hoop art. Last September I got a batch order from a primary school that wanted 30 tote bags done in time for the first week back. Its great on cream or white cotton so all 7 colours read true. Use a topping on minky or velvet if youre doing a nursery cushion. Stitch up the 2.66-inch version for a shirt pocket, it still shows all 4 bands even at that size. Best to iron the bobbin side after stitching to set the satin on the inner arches.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
