A sunflower with the words BE KIND stitched right into the design. The bloom has yellow satin petals radiating out from a dark centre, and the lettering sits bold and confident so its clearly readable from a distance. Eight colours go into this one: yellow for the petals, red for accents, aqua, dark green, blue, a bit of pink, white highlights and black linework tying it all together. Its busier than a plain botanical but every colour earns its place.
The sunflower shape is classic and generous, petals fanning all the way around and the centre filled with dense satin. The quote treatment is what makes it more than just another floral. Its the kind of design that people pick because they actually want to give it as a gift or stitch it onto something for someone they care about. Last may a customer wanted the 5-inch run for a teachers appreciation week and made a batch of tote bags for the whole staff. Said her coworkers kept stopping her in the hallway to ask where she got them.
White or cream fabric is going to show off the yellow petals and the red accents the best. Pale grey works too. Pop it on a tee, a canvas tote, a cushion cover or a quilt block and it reads well at any of those scales. Avoid dark backgrounds because the yellow satin wont show and the whole design loses the sunflower read. Dont try this on knits without a solid cutaway stabiliser under the hoop, the petal density is too high for stretch fabric without proper support.
Eight colours with 7 colour changes, so this is a thread-swap run. Sit down, prep your colours before you start and it goes smoothly. Cutaway backing under cotton wovens or canvas, medium tension, and use a topping on any fabric with a visible texture. Stitch count runs from 27,774 at 4 inches up to 69,937 on the 8-inch which is a genuinely dense run, so trust your underlay and dont rush the bobbin changes.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
