Be mine with a rainbow over the top. Its the kind of design that looks like it came straight off a candy heart or a school valentines card from the 1990s, which is exactly the vibe people are going for when they buy it. The rainbow sits in a proper arc with distinct colour sections, not a blended gradient, and the hearts are scattered around in that chaotic-but-intentional way.

4 colours to stitch, three colour bands in the arc and the text or hearts use the fourth. truly solid stitch count on this one, from about 14,000 at starting petite up to 35,000 stitches at 7.4 inches wide. The colour changes happen at a reasonable pace so its not as fiddly as it sounds.

I started digitising this style after I noticed the retro candy heart aesthetic coming back strong on social media. People are making whole colour-coordinated gift sets around this look. Customers who pick this up tend to also grab the matching rainbow text designs so its a good set builder.

5 sizes, 3.5 to 7.4 inches. Pair light cutaway everything, the fill density is too high for tearaway without risking some lift on the edges. Cotton, canvas, twill and denim are gonna work best. Skip anything with a texture or pile since the thin parts of the arc can get swallowed.

Thread quality matters here more than usual. Cheap thread can bleed colour optically where the colour sections meet each other which looks blurry at the joins. Use a good 40wt polyester and youll get sharp clean transitions between the sections.

What people are using this design for

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
