Casual hand-lettered script spelling out the phrase, the kind of writing that looks like someone actually sat down and wrote it with a good pen. The letters arent perfectly uniform, theres a natural lean to them and the stroke width changes at the curves like real handwriting does. A small swooping wave sits underneath the text as an underline, and theres a tiny shell accent tucked near the end. Three colours: sandy tan on the main text, soft turquoise for the wave, and warm white for the fill inside some of the wider letter strokes. Simple, but thats exactly the point.

Five sizes from 2.78 inches wide up to 6.46 inches, heights between 3.01 and 7.01 inches. Stitch counts 6,137 to 14,632, density 323 which is genuinely light so its one of the easier designs to stitch without fighting your stabiliser. Im always suprised how much a low-density script like this benefits from a proper medium-weight cutaway even though it doesnt feel like it needs one. Skip the tearaway on anything that has a bit of give to it. A customer used the 4-inch version last summer on a set of linen tea towels as a holiday house gift and said they came out soft and readable without any boardiness to the fabric. She sent me a photo and they looked genuinely lovely, the tan thread on natural linen is a realy warm combination.

Best on linen, light cotton, or soft canvas where the hand-lettered character comes through clearly. Use a water-soluble topping on any woven cloth with visible texture so the script letters dont sink into the weave. Add it to tote bags, pillow covers, or light denim shirt backs as a subtle coastal accent that doesnt shout.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Linen tea towels and kitchen textiles for a coastal kitchenUse the 4-inch setting on a natural linen tea towel with a soluble topping to keep the script from sinking into the woven texture.
  • Cotton tote bags and canvas shoppers for the beachWorks on a plain cotton canvas tote at the 5-inch size, the tan and turquoise reads warmly against natural fabric.
  • Light denim shirt backs for a casual coastal wardrobeStitch centred on a light denim shirt back at the 5-inch setting, the script weight suits the casual fabric perfectly.
  • Throw pillow covers for a beach house loungeThe 4-inch detail on a cream linen pillow cover makes a gentle coastal accent without overpowering the room.
  • Cotton pyjamas and loungewear for a beachy feelUse the 3-in face on the chest of a light cotton pyjama top, the low density is kind to soft jersey fabric.
  • Vacation journal and notebook coversMount on a thick cotton notebook cover at the 3-inch size for a gift that any beach-lover would actually use.
  • Gift sets for anyone who lives near or loves the seaThe 5-inch size pairs with a sun hat and a small candle in a natural cotton gift bag for a coastal welcome set.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
