The quote sits in a stacked layout, the kind where each line has a slightly different weight and character so your eye moves through it naturally. Four thread colours which is abit unusual for a text-only design but the extra colour comes from a wave or ocean accent element worked in. The aqua reads against the darker text and the sand tone gives the lighter words their warmth. Its not overly complicated to stitch but the four-colour sequence means you want to be properly set up before you start the run, dont rush the bobbin changes.
Five sizes from 3.23 inches wide scaling to 7.51 inches, stitch counts from 8,176 to 21,270. Density at 405 is comfortable for most woven cotton and canvas. Tearaway stabiliser is fine on a plain tote or shirt, but if youre working on something with any give to the fabric, a light cutaway behind keeps the satin columns from drifting. Underlay is built into the lettering so the satin fills lay flat without needing extra passes and thats one less thing to worry about on a batch run.
A customer wrote to me a few weeks ago after buying this one, she was making beach vacation tote bags as group gifts for her family reunion. She said she ran all 12 of them over two evenings and the only thing that caught her out was forgetting to re-thread the aqua for the wave accent after the third bag. Worth writing your colour sequence on a sticky note and leaving it on the machine frame for a batch run like that. Thats just practical, and Ive started recommending it to everyone doing batches of four or more.
