This Beach Please piece is gonna be a summer bestseller, I can already tell. Beach written in swoopy teal blue brush lettering up top, please flowing underneath in warm orange brush script. Theres something kinda sassy about the phrase, like youre annoyed at someone for even suggesting you do anything that isnt sit on the sand.

Around the words I tucked in two starfish, one teal one orange, and a lil teal sand dollar in the bottom right. Curling teal wave lines weave through the lettering top and bottom plus a few fish-tail wave marks scatter around the edges. Whole thing reads as one piece, not just text floating with random extras.

The starfish carry that classic bumpy texture you see on real ones, bodies filled with directional satin and surface dots done as small white spots so they pop against the colour. The colour combo always sells in summer, beachy without going on-the-nose. I made this for vacation merch sellers and last july a customer ordered 12 matching tank tops for a girls trip and the teal-orange pairing carried beautifully on white cotton.

I digitised the lettering with proper underlay so the script edges stay crisp even after a bunch of washes. Wave accents are running stitches not satin so the design doesnt feel heavy on lighter fabrics like jersey or linen.

Stitch on white, cream or pale sand cotton tees so the teal and orange both read clean. Place tearaway under woven totes, switch to medium cutaway on knit fabrics. Skip busy floral patterned fabric, the design needs calm background to read. Pop the 4 inch on a kids tee chest, run the 7.5 inch on a beach tote front. Run polyester thread on swimwear so the colours dont fade in chlorine.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • summer tote bags for beach tripson a structured canvas bag the teal and orange combo just sings, great market or beach bag.
  • tank tops and tees for vacation wearWhite cotton tank with the lettering across the chest reads clear from across a pool deck.
  • cover-ups and kaftansLight cotton kaftans take the medium density well, the wave lines feel breezy not stiff.
  • beach towels and pool bagsStitch it on the corner of a cream beach towel, save the centre for sand-shaking and folding.
  • kids summer shirts and sun hatsSized down to 4 inches the phrase fits a kids tee chest without overwhelming the lil shoulders.
  • coastal home pillow coversOn a 14 inch pillow against weathered wood walls it ties a coastal living room together.
  • drawstring bags for swim gearDrawstring swim bag in pale grey, teal letters facing out, clean look without much background fuss.
  • girls trip matching shirtsSet of matching tanks with this on each, the script has enough sass for a trip photo.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
