A chestnut bear sitting on top of a whale at 3.48 inches on the smallest and 7.45 inches across on the biggest of 9 sizes available. The bear has its stubby arms out like its either surfing or genuinely worried, hard to tell which, and the slate whale is mid-breach with cream spray coming off the tail. Its exactly the kind of image that makes no logical sense but looks absolutely right on the front of a kids cobalt tee.
my standard software handled 16 colour passes on this one, the density sits at 1,245 stitches per square inch and stitch count goes from 27,075 at the small end to 69,636 on the 7.45 inch version. Thats a heavy run on the big size so use heavy cutaway stabiliser, not medium, under stretchy fabrics. The cream water spray uses a topping film pass to keep the fine spray detail from sinking into cotton jersey loops. Dont skip that step or the spray reads as a blob instead of actual water movement.
I get messages about this one pretty regularly, mostly from people doing kids clothing and gift sets. One buyer told me she embroidered 40 bibs for a whale-themed first birthday party last month and they sold out before the party ended, which honestly made my whole week. The 4-inch version fits a bib front perfectly, and the same file scales to 7 inches for a toddler hoodie back panel.
Dm me on the shop if your machine drops thread on the water spray section, its the finest colour and sometimes needs a tension tweak depending on the machine brand. Cobalt, navy, pale aqua, or white kids jersey all work well as base fabrics. Skip busy prints because the 16-colour detail disappears into pattern backgrounds. Pick the right stabiliser weight and the design basically runs itself.
Hoop the fabric with zero slack before you start or the whale tail shifts and the whole composition goes off-centre.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

- kids hoodie back panelsRun the 7-inch version centre on a toddler hoodie back panel, the full composition needs the space.
- ocean nursery pillow coversCentre the 5-inch on a linen nursery pillow cover for an ocean animal theme childs bedroom.
- cobalt jersey children tee frontPlace the 5-inch on the front of a cobalt kids tee for a summer outfit piece.
- kids swim bag or beach totePop the 6-inch on a canvas swim bag or beach tote, works for boys or girls age 2 to 7.
- gift sets for first birthday whale themesCombine with a fabric initial block for a first birthday whale-theme gift hamper.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
