Makeup bag season is kind of when this one really shines. Its a two-colour script design, "Beauty" in a big hot-pink cursive with a soft pink shadow behind it, and then "comes from Within (this bag)" dropping down in that chunky charcoal black lettering. So cheeky. The parenthetical at the bottom is what makes it, honestly, and it reads perfectly at the 7 inch on a canvas tote or a large zip pouch.
I digitised this one to keep the satin columns on "Beauty" really tight so the pink doesnt bleed into the shadow layer. There's a cutaway stabiliser under the whole thing because both colours run directional fills, and you need that stability or the lettering pulls. Hoop your canvas or cotton twill snug before you start, and centre the design so the parenthetical doesnt drift off the bottom edge.
A seller I know put this on natural linen makeup bags for her craft fair table last spring and said she sold out in two hours. And I realy dont doubt it, this quote lands. Pop it on a denim zipper pouch, a canvas cosmetic bag, even a cotton tote for a bridesmaid gift. Use a topping on any terry or fleece versions to keep the lettering crisp. The 3.5 inch also fits a coin purse or a small face cloth if you want something subtle.
Ping me if the tie-offs come loose.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Canvas makeup bagA buyer stitched this on a canvas makeup bag for her craft fair table and it pulled more compliments than the bags she was selling.
- Cotton zip pouchCotton zip pouches work brilliant at the 5 inch, just hoop tight so the satin columns stay smooth.
- Canvas tote bagCentre the 6 inch on a canvas tote and leave plenty of breathing room around the parenthetical.
- Bridesmaid gift bagStitch the 4 inch onto natural linen and tie it with ribbon for a bridesmaid makeup set.
- Linen cosmetic bagAdd a topping layer on terry cloth versions so the lettering doesnt sink into the pile.
- Denim zipper pouchDenim eats underlay well, so skip the light tearaway and go straight to cutaway for longevity.
- Face cloth or washclothAt 3.5 inches it sits perfectly on a face cloth, ideal for gift sets with a matching pouch.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
