Honestly my favourite thing about this one is how much personality the bee has. Its not a cartoon, not a clipart blob. Its a proper illustrated bee, wings fanned out, abdomen striped in amber and charcoal black, little legs going in all directions like its mid-flight. The whole thing sits inside a shield crest shape with a ribbon banner across the top reading "Bee Farm" and "Raw Honey" in matching amber lettering at the base. Honeycomb panels flank both sides. Its a complete composition, nothing feels like an afterthought.

Stitch count goes up to 32,464 on the largest size so theres alot going on inside this one. The satin fill on the honeycomb cells is especially clean, and the directional tatami fill on the bee body reads well even on dense fabric like denim or canvas. I used cutaway stabiliser when testing on a linen tote and it held everything flat without any shifting around the badge edges. Topping helps on any textured cloth, keeps the lettering crisp. The underlay on the wings is minimal on purpose so the white areas stay open and light.

A crafter who runs a small honey operation messaged me last week asking for something that felt handmade but still sharp enough for branded merch. This was the one she went with. Pop it centred on a canvas apron bib and it looks like a proper logo. Try the 6 inch on the back panel of a denim jacket, thats where it really shines. Use it on a twill cap front if you want something more compact. Pair with natural linen or cream cotton for that raw, unprocessed aesthetic.

Hoop your fabric snug because the density at 639 stitches per cm means any movement during stitching shows up in the finished piece. Skip the tearaway on stretchy jersey, cutaway is the better call. Iron a light topping sheet over the banner text area if your base cloth has any texture at all, the small lettering in the ribbon repays the extra step. Add a bobbin thread that matches your base fabric and the underside stays tidy on thinner fleece.

Send me a quick note if the file wont open on your machine.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Farmers market apronHonestly my favourite spot for this one is centred on a cream cotton apron bib for a market stall.
  • Denim jacket back panelThe 6 inch version fills a denim jacket back panel without crowding the shoulders.
  • Canvas tote bagStitch it onto heavy canvas and the honeycomb cells hold their shape wash after wash.
  • Honey jar label patchCut a patch, sew it onto burlap, and its a ready-made label for homemade honey jars.
  • Twill baseball capCap fronts work best around 3.5 inches, keeps all the detail readable at arm's length.
  • Country kitchen tea towelTerry cloth doesnt need topping if you go slowly, and the badge shape presses out flat.
  • Gift bag for homemade honeySew onto a small linen bag tied with twine for a kinda lovely rustic gift presentation.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
