Its a puppy in a bee suit wearing glasses and I cant explain why it works but it really does. Eleven colours, four sizes, fluffy brown fur, satin-stitched wings.

Its kawaii cartoon dog territory, the cute kind where the character has a personality. Its a Shih Tzu or Yorkie type, that scruffy warm brown fur. Big round glasses on the nose. Below the neck its all bee, bright yellow and black horizontal stripes wrapping round the torso in alternating satin bands. Two translucent wings fan out from the shoulders, each one stitched with fine parallel lines so you can see the veining through the pale cream fill. On the head theres a flower-crown-style antenna band with two small yellow pompom balls at the tips in tight dense satin. And scattered around the edges, three miniature bees hover at the corners like they cant quite decide if the dogs one of them.

Each colour is doing real work in here. The fur uses directional fill that changes angle across the chest so it catches light the way real fur does. Stitch count runs from 31k on the 4.5-inch version up to 60k on the 7.5-inch, so this one takes time. One customer ordered last spring for a dog-owner birthday gift and she told me her friend wore it to a dog park and got stopped three times about it.

Pick a flat medium-weight cotton or a structured fleece. Avoid anything too stretchy or the fine wing lines wont hold their shape. Use a cutaway stabiliser given the density, hoop tight, and float a topping layer if your fabric has any texture. Drop a message if you run into colour registration issues on the antenna band.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
