Some designs are just for the feeling and this is one of those. The phrase "Being a Mom Makes My Life Complete" is the whole message and the sunflower and heart accents around it make sure you feel that. The sunflower is not a fussy multi-petal botanical illustration, its a warm, rounded, cheerful sunflower with a solid center and petals that have a slightly loose hand-drawn quality. Small hearts are scattered through the composition to pick up the sentimental theme. The overall effect is warm and genuine without crossing into saccharine territory.

Best at 4 to 5 inches wide so the text runs legibly across the composition and the sunflower keeps its petal detail. Color count is typically 3 to 4, gold and brown for the sunflower, a contrasting thread for the text, and optionally a soft color for the hearts. Density should be moderate, especially on the sunflower petals where you want them to look rounded and full without stiffening. Tearaway stabiliser on standard shirt and bag fabric. Keep the hoop nice and tight through the text section to avoid pull on the baseline.

This one is a Mother's Day staple but honestly it works for any occasion where you want to give a mum something personal. I had a customer run it on a sweatshirt for her own mum who was turning 60, stitched in warm gold and cream on a navy sweatshirt. She said her mum wore it immediately and kept it on all day. That kind of reaction is what makes these worth making. Also popular on tote bags and framed hoop pieces for mums who decorate with this sort of sentiment.

Shoot me a chat note if the sunflower petal color isn't reading warm enough and Ill sort it out fast.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
