Its a vintage bicycle with a cluster of heart-shaped balloons tied to the handlebars, floating up above the frame. The bike itself has that slim retro silhouette with spoked wheels and a curved frame, done in dark and light grey. The balloons are bold red and pink hearts, the strings running down to the handlebars where theyre knotted. As a combination its the kind of design that works for valentines season but honestly reads as romantic-whimsical year-round.

31,757 stitches at the 7.5 span, 6 colours, digitised in professional digitising tools with fine satin stitch on the bicycle frame lines and a heavier fill density on the balloon bodies so the hearts pop. Back with heavyweight cutaway on any stretch fabric. Pair it with a cream or white base fabric and the grey bicycle frame gets its full contrast. Add a topping on textured surfaces so the fine bicycle spokes dont sink into the pile. Four sizes from 4.5 inches to 7 in max.

I had a customer order this one last February for a set of tote bags she was making as gifts, came back two weeks later for the larger size because her friends kept asking about them. The design has a lot of detail packed into the bicycle wheel spokes and the balloon strings, so the cutaway backing is what keeps those fine lines from distorting after washing.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Valentine gift tote bags and canvas pouchesCanvas tote in cream at 6 inches for a Valentines gift; a customer came back two weeks later for the larger size because her friends kept asking about the bags.
  • Romantic-themed apparel like sweatshirts and cardigansLinen cushion cover in off-white; the fine grey bicycle spokes read with real delicacy against the natural linen texture.
  • Wedding and anniversary home decor itemsBlush sweatshirt chest placement; the pink and red balloons read against the blush base while the grey bike frame stays legible.
  • Bicycle shop branded merchandiseBicycle cafe branded apron at 4.5 inches; suits any shop that wants something romantic-whimsical rather than a plain logo.
  • Housewarming gifts on linen cushion coversThrow pillow in cream linen at 7.5 inches; the vintage-home quality lands well in a living room that doesnt want overtly seasonal decor.
  • Craft fair seasonal merchandise for spring and summerSpring craft stall item in lightweight cotton at 5 inches; the colour range holds on most wovens without fuss, tearaway works fine.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
