Its an elegant butterfly, not a bright one. The wings hold a deep black satin fill with contrast detail stitched into the wing sections, lighter accent lines or small markings that give it depth and stop it from reading as just a flat black shape. Three thread changes so theres some dimension happening, and at density 477 the satin fill stays clean without being rigid, which keeps the finished piece feeling polished and light rather than stiff or heavy. Spread wing view, symmetrical, honestly reads as intentional and a lil editorial, not a typical nature clip art.
Six sizes, more than most designs, going from 2.01 inches wide by 1.74 inches tall at the tiniest up to 7.01 inches across and 6.09 inches tall at the full size. Stitch counts open at 3,255 on small, reaching 20,374 on the large. Its a good range, theres a small option for accessories, a mid size for pocket or chest placement, and a large version for tote faces and cushions. my standard software set the density with care because this design works on dark fabrics and you want the accent details to show without getting swallowed by a too-dense base fill.
Dark base fabrics are where this one shines. I stitched a sample on black cotton jersey last october and the white and grey accent threads against the black produce this tonal effect that customers realy love. A customer who makes gothic-style accessories told me she uses it on every collection run now, which honestly made my week. Back it with a soft cutaway for jersey and knit, or tearaway for stable woven cotton. Pop it on black, charcoal, navy or deep forest green fabric for the strongest result. It also works on white and cream for a classic high-contrast look.
Lay wash-away film on any textured or looped surface. Use the small 2 inch size on jacket collar or cuff placement, 4-5 inches for a tee front, and the full 7 inch for a tote bag face or cushion cover centre.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
