Two cats, one pumpkin, and the pumpkin is losing its filling down the front in that drippy melting style that everyone seems to love right now. The cats sit on either side with their tails wrapped around themselves, both staring forward with that specific blank cat intensity that reads as either bored or plotting. One has white eye highlights that catch light on the stitched version, gives them an alive quality. The green bow on the pumpkin stem is what tips this from spooky into something your cat-loving friends are actually gonna want on their stuff.
5 colours in the stop sequence. The pumpkin body uses layered orange shades to get some dimension across the lobes rather than one flat fill. Black cats run dense satin with directional stitching that follows the fur on the body and legs, so theyre not just flat black shapes. The drips are lighter amber than the main body, which reads as a glow from inside the pumpkin. Its a design with enough going on that people look twice and usually ask where it came from.
5 sizes, 3 inch up to 7 inch. The 5-inch is probably the sweet spot for most apparel. One customer of mine owns a cat-themed Etsy shop texted me in October after sewing the 5-inch on a set of sweatshirts for her cats Halloween photo shoot, and honestly that made my week.
Use medium cutaway stabiliser on woven and medium-weight knit. Add topping on fleece or terry to stop the satin fills sinking into the pile. Hoop snug so the cat ear tips dont drift. Skip thin tear-away on this one, the 5-colour build is dense enough to need proper backing. Text me through the shop contact if anything goes sideways with the file.
