Im kinda fascinated by how much customers reach for the simple black cat designs, not the detailed ones, but the ones where the silhouette does all the work. One customer wrote me in october saying she needed six matching halloween tote bags done before the weekend and asked me which design would stitch fastest. I pointed her to this one. Six thousand and ninety six stitches, density of only 104, it runs fast, uses minimal thread, and reads clean even on dark fabric because its built around outline and silhouette rather than dense fill.
Four colour stops. Done. Black body fill, eye colour, a highlight detail, and the outline pass. On a dark halloween fabric you can drop the outline stop and operate with just three colour changes total. A density this light means tearaway stabiliser is fine on almost any fabric, woven, knit, even felt. Skip the cutaway on this one, it would be overkill. A standard 2.58" x 3.51" footprint fits a left chest on most adult shirts without adjusting anything.
Stitch it on a black tee for a subtle tonal look, black-on-black with just the cat eyes popping in green thread is genuinely cool. Go high contrast on a white or cream fabric and the silhouette reads sharp and flat like a linoprint. Pop it on canvas bags, tea towels, or kids halloween pyjamas where minimal thread coverage keeps it comfortable against skin. If youre customising a matching halloween set, this design takes under ten minutes to stitch per piece which makes batch runs very reasonable.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
