Put this one together as the soccer version of the blank sports ball template. Same split framing concept, soccer ball halves above and below, open gap in the centre. The classic pentagon and hexagon panel lines are stitched across both halves using a single black thread so theres no colour stop needed at all. The outer ball circle is a clean satin column edge and those inner section dividers are run stitched so the whole design has a nice graphic quality without being too heavy.
Single colour. Zero stops. Stitch count runs from 3,454 at the smallest 3 inch version to 12,749 at 6.17 inches wide. 6 sizes total from 3 to just over 6 inches, heights ranging from about 2.3 inches to 8 inches at the tall end with the gap spacing included. Density is 258 stitches per inch which is quite light, meaning this runs fast and doesnt put much stress on the fabric. Back woven cotton or canvas with tearaway, thats plenty.
Because its all in one thread it works on practically any fabric colour. White, red, yellow, green, navy, grey. The panel lines show cleanly on anything that contrasts with black. Skip anything sheer or overly textured where the outline satin can pull.
So. Easy one to customise too. Add a name or number in your embroidery software inside the centre gap, or use a fill stitch block in the gap to make it a solid framed badge. Alot of customers use it as-is for a clean sports logo look.
