The palette here is the whole point. No bright ROYGBIV, none of that. Its coral pink on the outermost band, then peach, burnt orange, pale cream, and a cool grey strip at the centre. The bottom edge of the arch is scalloped rather than a flat horizon, which is a small detail but gives it that 70s handmade quality without tipping into kitsch.
Crossing the lower half of the arch is a brown botanical branch, a sprig with around 8 or 9 oval leaves pointing in different directions, some up, some sideways. The branch cuts through both legs and extends past one side. That earthy brown against the warm arch tones is what pulls it into boho territory instead of just cheerful-rainbow territory.
6 colors, 5 color changes. 7 sizes, running from 2.39 by 2.51 inches at 6,360 stitches at the compact end, up to 5.24 by 5.51 inches at 15,957 stitches for cushion-front scale work. my embroidery software. Eight formats in the zip file.
Hoop a linen cushion cover and the muted bands stitch out looking genuinely rich, thicker than they look in the preview. Pop it on a denim jacket centre back and the palette has that worn-in vintage patch quality. Use a firm-hooped tear-away on stable wovens like cotton canvas or linen. Skip lightweight stabiliser on jersey, it needs a proper medium-weight cutaway or the arch bands pull and lose shape. Press the hoop hard before stitching, two overlapping fill areas need a solid base or theyll misregister.
I get orders for this one regularly, the non-primary palette is what people are after. One customer last autumn wrote to say shes been using it for a market stall, selling handmade home goods. The earthy rainbow sits comfortably in adult interiors in a way the bright ones dont. Totes and cushions outsell the nursery use by quite a bit.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Neutral-palette nursery decor, wall hoop or crib sheetMuted tones fit a gender-neutral nursery next to natural wood and woven textures.
- Market tote bag for a boho brandThis exact colour combo is very on-brand for the handmade market and farmers market aesthetic.
- Denim jacket back panelStitched onto the back panel of a denim jacket it reads like a worn-in vintage patch, nothing too precious about it.
- Baby clothing, onesie chest or bibAt 2.4 inches it fits a onesie chest or bib without overwhelming the fabric.
- Throw pillow for a bohemian bedroomOn a linen or cotton velvet cushion the earthy bands look genuinely rich once stitched out.
- Linen pouch or project bagA linen drawstring pouch with this on the front is a project people actually finish and keep.
- Kids backpack patchIron-on stabiliser backing makes this a solid patch design for kids bags or jackets.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
