Boho rainbow with four nested earthy arches and a tiny heart resting at the centre base. The outer band is a deep cedar bark brown, then a warm mustard brown band steps inside, then a white band scattered with small grey polka dots, then a soft pussywillow grey inner band. Theres a small pale grey heart sitting under the inner arch like an anchor.
So the arches are built from short directional strokes which gives the rainbow a matte textured woven look rather than the slick satin feel of a kids rainbow. You can see the stroke direction on close inspection which is what makes this read boho rather than cartoon. The polka dot band adds a little playful spec without breaking the neutral palette.
I drew this for modern neutral nursery decor and earthy boho baby pieces. A customer in portland ordered the 5-in chest size on a cream linen swaddle last summer for her cousins baby shower and the matte texture stitched beautifully on the natural fibre. Im also seeing it stitched on muslin baby blankets and tan toddler pillows.
Comes in 5 sizes from 2.59 wide to 5.54 wide, smallest under 6,000 stitches and the biggest just over 18,500. Theres 5 colours total, the earthy cedar bark, mustard, white, grey and a pale grey accent for the heart. Density sits around 447 which is light enough for muslin and gauze fabrics to handle without buckling.
Stitches cleanly on linen, muslin, cream cotton, hessian and oat coloured fleece. Skip dark navy or black base fabrics because the earthy palette loses warmth against cold dark colours, this design lives for cream and warm neutral grounds. Use a tearaway on muslin, pop cutaway behind any baby jersey. Im happy to resend a file if it fails to load.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Neutral nursery muslin swaddlesCream muslin swaddle, the matte textured strokes show up beautifully against the natural woven fibre, not possible with smooth satin.
- Cream linen wall hoopsCream linen wall hoop, 5.5 inch centred, the earthy palette works in a neutral baby room where bright colour feels too much.
- Boho baby blanket cornersBurp cloth corner in the 3 inch version, stays subtle but still feels personalised, the little grey heart at the base is the detail.
- Oat cotton pillow casesOat cotton toddler pillow case with the name stitched below the arch, a bedroom piece that stays relevant past the baby stage.
- Modern memory book coversHessian baby shower gift bag, the smallest version as an accent tag detail rather than a front-panel centrepiece.
- Hessian gift bag accentsLinen drawstring pouch for a boho baby shower favour, fill it with a muslin cloth and a small wooden teether.
- Cream linen burp clothsMemory book cover in cream, the cedar and mustard tones age well alongside the pressed footprint pages inside.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
