Simple shape, surprisingly complex to digitise. The furry edge texture on each pad is built from individual short satin strokes that angle outward from the pad edge, and getting the density right so it reads as fur without becoming a blob took several test runs. Three colours: warm sandy brown for the main pad fill, a darker outline colour with those irregular fur-stroke edges, and a lighter centre highlight tone that gives each pad a little lift. It doesnt look flat, which is unusual for a 3-colour piece, and thats because of the fur-stroke treatment at the edges.
Four sizes from 4.5 x 3.89 inches up to 7.5 x 6.49 inches. Stitch counts 37,867 to 66,991, density at 1376. Thats high for what looks like a simple design, but its all coming from the fur-edge treatment, the underlay beneath those strokes is pretty aggressive to keep them from laying flat. Use a cutaway stabiliser at every size, the edge strokes pull hard on anything lighter. A customer reached out last june after stitching the 6-in size on a dog bandana and said the texture was so realistic people asked if someone printed it. Dont skip the cutaway even at the small 4.5 inch version.
Best on medium-weight woven fabric where the fur strokes have something firm to sit on. Skip soft knits at larger sizes because the dense fur edges can cause pull at the outline boundaries even with good stabilising. Run it on canvas, cotton twill, or denim for the cleanest fur-stroke definition at full size. Stitch it in a warm tan on dark brown denim if you want a tone-on-tone textured look.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
