Theres alot of holly jolly text designs out there but I wanted one that was actually bold rather than the usual thin script version. This one uses a chunky satin-filled font so the letters have real weight and read clearly even at the smaller sizes. Holly and berries tuck in near the lettering as a simple decoration rather than taking over the whole design. Its a text design that means it, not a whisper.

Three colours, the main lettering body in a light or cream thread, a red layer for fill detail or outlines and the holly berries, green for the leaf accent. Stitch count goes from 14,597 on the 3.23 inch size up to 33,685 on the 6.9 inch, density sits at 650 which reflects the thick satin letter fills throughout. Five sizes total, 3.23 inches up to 6.9 wide, heights 3.51 to 7.51 so its taller than wide at most sizes.

One customer ordered it in december along with 3 other christmas text designs and said this was the jolly one that her kids fought over who got to wear it. Pop a cutaway stabiliser behind the chunky letter sections, the 650 density satin fill on thick lettering needs solid backing to stay raised and crisp. Tearaway works fine on rigid woven canvas or denim. Use cutaway on any jersey or fleece since the letter fills can warp on stretch without proper backing. Skip very thin cotton voile for the large sizes.
