Heres what I genuinely liked about this bold patriotic eagle design: the wing split is a real design decision, not just a colour swap. Left wing goes all navy satin, right wing goes full red, and the brown tatami body sits dead centre with that white bald-eagle head staring straight out like its daring you to look away. The "250" underneath is basically a whole separate embroidery packed inside those numerals, flag stripes running horizontally across the fill, white stars dotted through the navy sections, bold black satin outlines framing each digit so it reads sharp and clean even on dark fabric.

Firework dots burst outward from behind the wings in matching navy and red, scattered in those oval teardrop shapes that look like they came off a real sparkler. A veteran I sold to last week stitched the large size centred on a canvas jacket for a July 4th parade and sent me a photo, and honestly the result looked exactly how I hoped it would when I was building the underlay sequences. Dont underestimate the density here, the stitch count hits 67,519 at the largest size, and that 1,256 density figure means cutaway stabiliser is non-negotiable, not tearaway, not water-soluble alone.

On denim or heavy canvas twill the bird sits up clean without topping, but on fleece or pique polo always lay down water-soluble topping first or those directional satin stitches sink right into the pile. Use the 3.51 inch version on a cap front hooped on a firm cap frame, that size keeps the feather detail without losing the star work inside the numerals. Pop the mid-size on a navy twill work shirt left chest and the whole thing becomes a wearable patriotic statement. Hoop the stabiliser, float the fabric on top, and let the stitch order do its job, wings first, then the 250 block, then the eagle body layers on top, and thats what gives it that stacked dimensional look you cant get from a flat tatami fill on a single pass.

Send me a quick note if your machine trips on the small text.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Back of a canvas or denim jacketHonestly my favourite spot for this one is the back of a canvas jacket at the full 7-inch size.
  • Navy baseball capTote bags take the 6-inch nicely, especially on navy cotton canvas where the red wing pops hard.
  • Tote bag for July 4th eventsA baseball cap works best with the 3.5-inch version hooped on a firm cap frame with tearaway backing.
  • Fleece blanketFleece blankets need cutaway plus water-soluble topping or those tatami fills disappear into the pile.
  • Cotton twill work shirt left chestPop it on the left chest of a twill work shirt at 4 inches for a bold but wearable patriotic look.
  • Stadium seat cushion coverStadium cushion covers in heavy canvas handle the dense stitch count without puckering on the seams.
  • Gym bag front panelUse the mid-size on a gym bag front where the bold black outline holds up fine against zipper stress.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
