These lips are bold in the literal sense, wide and flat, graphic rather than realistic. No fine painted shading or portrait-style modelling, just clean strong fills and a near-black outline that holds the shape with confidence. The upper lip has that slight bow curve at the centre top and the lower lip is noticeably fuller, which is what pushes the proportions into statement territory.
Seven colours in the file: a solid deep red fill, a dark crimson for shadow depth, mid red for the main body, warm rose tones for the inner area, a pale blush as the base underlay, near-black for the outline, and a light tone highlight. Density sits at 932 so it stitches out solid and opaque, you wont see base fabric showing through running the 7-in span. Stitch count runs from 10,456 at 3.51 inches up to 30,535 at the largest. The outline is a defined satin stitch border so use cutaway stabiliser on knit or stretch fabrics, a torn-away base just wont hold that edge flat.
This works really well as a standalone valentine design. I had customers order this for tote bags, throw pillows, and one customer who stitched it on a black velvet clutch for a valentines date night outfit last year. The red-on-black contrast is intense. Pair on dark or black fabric for maximum drama, or use on white if you want the classic red lips look.
Runs from 3.51 inches wide scaling 7.5, 5 sizes ready to go. Use a topping on terry or fluffy fabrics so the bold outline doesnt get lost. Text me if you need help picking the right size for your project.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
