The bold t-rex is a full-body side profile and its about as no-nonsense as a dino design gets. The body is a near-black charcoal with vivid crimson red slashing through in thick stripe markings across the back, shoulders and upper legs, like light coming through scales. The jaw is open wide, white teeth on full display, head angled just enough toward the viewer that you feel like its about to step out of the fabric. Under the feet theres a jagged red rock formation, low and angular, which grounds the whole thing so it doesnt just float on the shirt.
Five colour total so the thread swap count is low, just 4 colour changes, which means this stitches out suprisingly fast for a design this dense. The density hits 1,444 per square inch which is genuinely high, the big 7.51-inch size runs to 40,882 stitches and the smallest 3.51-inch is just over 18k. embroidery software did the body fill in tatami so the scale texture looks like skin and not just flat black, and the directional underlay on the underbelly is what separates the silver-grey tone from the charcoal without needing an extra thread.
My niece bought this for her sons fifth birthday tee last autumn and she stitched the 5.5-inch on a grey cotton tee. He wore it to his dino party and wouldnt take it off for three days. I get alot of orders from parents doing dino birthday custom merch, youth sports teams with a t-rex mascot, and a few from collectors doing custom denim patches for vintage jackets.
Use a firm mesh cutaway stabiliser here, the 1,444 density is too heavy for tearaway on any size. Best on grey, white, charcoal or olive cotton and canvas where the near-black body and red markings read with full contrast. Avoid dark navy as the black body can merge with the background and you lose the scale detail. Run the machine at a slightly reduced speed on the body sections. Five colours. Done.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
