This one took alot of back and forth to get right. A tiger head facing slightly left, mouth open just enough to show attitude without going full roar. The stripes are built from directional satin runs in burnt orange and amber, with grey-blue shadow tones underneath that give the fur real depth. Black outline stitching locks the whole thing down and gives it that bold, graphic quality you can read from across a room.

punched via my main software. The layering sequence runs base fill first, then the darker underlay tones, then the heavy satin stripes on top. Trims sit at 72 across the full sequence so the bobbin thread stays clean on the reverse. The density is set at 796 stitches per square inch, which keeps the fabric from bunching on medium-weight cotton or canvas. Use cutaway stabiliser on stretch fabrics, and youll want a topping layer on anything with a visible weave or texture. Dont skip that step. Stitch slow through the dense stripe sections.

And yes, customers keep asking whether the grey-blue bits are intentional. They are. Thats the shadow mapping across the cheekbone and jaw. It reads as natural striping once its hooped and stitched out, not as a colour error. One customer grabbed the 6.86-inch size last spring for a canvas tote and said the contrast read perfectly at that scale. And honestly that feedback is what pushed me to add the two mid-range sizes.

5 sizes from 3.20 inches up to 6.86 inches wide, 10 colours, 9 colour changes. Stitch range 15,924 to 40,891 depending on size. Best stitched on heavy cotton, denim, or canvas where the satin stripes can really sit up and pop. Skip light voile or thin poly, its too soft to hold the density cleanly. If youre not sure about fabric weight, Im happy to help you pick a size.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Back panel of a denim jacketThe 6.86-inch size fills a jacket back panel well. Stitch on heavy denim with cutaway stabiliser and the satin stripes sit up clean.
  • Centre chest on a heavyweight black teeBlack tee on a 5-inch hoop. Orange and amber pop hard against dark fabric, especially with a dark thread bobbin.
  • Canvas tote bag frontNatural canvas takes the satin runs well. The 5-inch size is a good fit for a standard tote front.
  • Baseball cap crown (use the 3.2-inch size)3.2-inch on a structured cap crown. Use a cap frame and foam topping to keep the pile from catching the needle.
  • Gym bag or sports duffel front pocketPolyester duffel fabric needs a cutaway base and a topping sheet. The 4-inch size works for front pockets.
  • Throw pillow cover on a dark linen groundDark linen ground with the 5-inch hoop. The orange reads warm against natural or charcoal linen shades.
  • Hoodie left chest or sleeve panelLeft chest or full sleeve on a fleece hoodie. Fleece needs cutaway and a light topping to keep the loops clear.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
