This one was a specific request, I had a customer who works as a paediatric nurse, she wanted something halloween-themed that was also work-appropriate for her scrubs pocket. She wanted a ghost but with a nurse hat on, and the 'boo boo crew' text was her idea as a play on the boo-boo first aid thing. I thought it was such a good idea that I digitised it properly and put it in the shop.
The file runs at 16,440 stitches in 10 colours, which is alot of stitch count for something that only measures 2.66" wide by 3.51" tall. Thats because the density is 273, higher than average, and the satin text lettering has directional underlay to keep everything crisp at that compact size. Digitised in my embroidery software, the colour sequencing is well ordered and the bobbin tension should stay consistent throughout the full run.
Back with medium cutaway on scrubs or any polyester-cotton blend. At 2.66" wide you can use a smaller hoop, but dont skip the cutaway, at density 273 you need solid backing or youll get puckering through the stretch of any medical fabric. Stitch it at a slow speed on the satin sections for the sharpest lettering result. Add topping on any textured or terry scrub material.
I get orders for this every october from nurses and healthcare workers, some people buy alot of copies for a whole department. One of them. Reach me if the file causes any trouble and I'll get you a replacement immediately. Text me if the satin needs adjustment and Ill check the punch.
