Each letter in this halloween BOO design is built from wreath material rather than normal letterforms. The B has a vertical branch spine with wreath-style clusters of pumpkins and purple foliage at the curves. The two Os are full circular wreaths, each one packed with orange jack-o-lanterns, tiny black bats, cobwebs, and small candles with white flame tips. The whole word reads immediately but every centimetre of it is doing something interesting.
6 colours, 11 sizes. Its a narrow, tall composition, 1.96 to 3.74 inches wide, 5.51 to 10.51 inches tall. The smallest fits on a sleeve or collar without dominating, the largest fills a front panel or tote face. Stitch counts are 24,801 at the smallest and 44,591 at the largest, both manageable on a mid-range machine. Dont skip topping on woven fabric or the fill stitches sink.
Its a design thats made for vertical display. On a trick-or-treat bag, a long table runner, a pillow panel. I sold a bunch of the 8-inch to a customer back in september last year who was making halloween table runners as market stock and she told me they sold out first at her stall. Im not suprised, its a clean design that works well as a centrepiece.
Orange fabric is the obvious call and it works well here. White or cream shows the wreath motif detail more sharply. Avoid dark fabric because the purple foliage disappears into backgrounds below charcoal. The black outlines hold fine on dark but ya lose about a third of the visual depth. Use cutaway stabiliser because of the density in the wreath elements. Doesnt need anything alongside it, best used as a standalone piece.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
