The ghost is sitting there holding an open book and the text above reads Booooks with all those extra O's for emphasis. Its a halloween design but the bookish crowd goes absolutely wild for this one, I keep getting orders from people who are into reading aesthetics and spooky season at the same time. 9 colours, stitch count runs from 13,599 on the smallest up to 38,638 on the largest version, its one my more detailed designs in the halloween collection.
9 sizes, tiny version is 1.8 in, biggest version pushes near 3.84 in wide, heights ranging between 3.5 and 7.5 inches. The narrow vertical format means it fits on a shirt pocket, a bag strap panel, or a bookmark project really well. Density is 1,342 which is dense, this ghost has a lot going on with the book details and the lettering, you're gonna want a good heavy cutaway stabiliser to keep everything flat and crisp.
The 9 colours include the ghost white body, book cover colour, page edges, the text, eye and mouth details, it sounds like alot of thread swaps but em are all clearly indexed in the PDF. my software built the satin columns on those Booooks letters so they're properly formed, they dont look like blocky fills they look like actual lettering. Use a topping on terry cloth or fleece so the stitches sit on top of the pile rather than sinking in. Hoop a heavy cutaway underneath, the density at 1,342 is high and it needs that backing to stay flat. Skip lightweight tearaway here, its not enough support for the stitch count.
I see this go on tote bags for halloween book clubs, its also really popular on hoodies, people wear it all autumn not just on the one halloween day itself.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
