The words Born and Grill sit in big chunky red block letters, the kind that fill the hoop edge to edge at the larger sizes. In between them the word 'to' is done in loose black cursive, then theres a little flame above a kettle grill silhouette tucked in to the right of it. Two colours, red and black, dead simple to thread up.
Seven sizes in this one, starting at 5,413 stitches for the 2 inch scaling right through to 38,857 at nearly 8 inches wide. That range means it works on a pocket, a shirt chest, an apron front, whatever you need. my professional tool digitised it and the sketchy satin fill on the block letters is what gives it that hand-done BBQ joint energy rather than looking too polished. Around Father's Day this year I had loads of people ordering the 4-inch on aprons and it was one of the most consistent stitchouts of any text design Ive run. A customer told me they did 6 matching aprons for a family BBQ and every one came out the same.
Colour changes stay at just one per size so theres no fussing mid-stitch. Slide stiff cutaway behind apron fabric before hooping and youll get crisp edges on every letter. Thread red first, swap to black for the cursive and grill details, done. Skip white fabric if you want the design to really pop, dark navy or charcoal grey makes those colours sing.
Reach out a chat if you end up needing a custom colour version for a team or event, Im happy to sort that out.

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- BBQ apron frontsThe 4-inch hoops right onto a standard apron bib, centred above the pocket.
- Dad gifts for Father's DayA classic gift idea, stitch it on a dark navy or grey dad apron for a solid result.
- Grilling competition team shirtsTeam BBQ comps where everyone needs matching shirts love the 6-7 inch chest version.
- Oven mitts and kitchen towelsHoop kitchen towels on a sew-in stabiliser, the 3-inch fits any standard towel band.
- Cooler bag front panelsSoft-sided cooler bags in canvas or nylon, stitch the large version front and centre.
- Mens baseball cap sidesThe 2-inch is compact enough for a cap panel without the design going edge to edge.
- Camping and outdoor gear pouchesCanvas camping pouches or zipper bags hold up well hooped on firm cutaway backing.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
