Bumble seen top down, peony bloom drawn beside it on the left. Bee body runs vertical down the centre at 5.49 tall, abdomen tip pointed down, head up top, wings spread out wide either side. Heavy satin filling sits across all the abdomen segments and over the head so the bumble reads as one solid dark mass. Right alongside, the peony goes pure outline, no fill inside any petal at all. Contrast between weight on the right and air on the left carries the whole composition.
Single thread colour, 279 density file. Wing veins ran fine on my sample piece at 5 across on charcoal grey linen. Bobbin tension wanted slowing a touch for the satin abdomen, otherwise it pulled the underlay tight through the centre of my run. 5 sizes range 2.56 small to 5.49 wide. Heights cover 3 colours error in the listing, true heights run 3.51 small to 7.51 big, because the file sits taller than it sits wide. Smallest fits a 4x4 hoop, biggest needs at least a 5x7 frame.
This one moves for wedding linen makers, alot of orders from sewers stitching ring bearer pillows, groomsmens pocket squares, and bridesmaid hanky monograms. Heard from a customer back in june asking if shed get the bumble to read clean on natural linen napkins, the answer was yes when you pin a firm cutaway behind. Pop a tearaway under that for extra body on washable napkins, and youre fine for nine wash cycles plus.
Pick polyester thread over rayon, the rayon sheen makes the abdomen go plasticky and youll lose the matt feel of natural linen. Skip metallic thread entirely, it kills the botanical look. Try the bumble paired with a hand drawn monogram underneath for proper wedding stationery balance. The peony alongside the bee gives ya room to slot an initial or wedding date below without crowding any element at all. Drop a quick line in case your machine software wont open the file, ill check it inside the hour.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
