The paw shape is the outline and the inside is entirely botanical. Every pad and toe section is packed with layered flowers and leaves. Daisies with pale pink petals and soft peach centres, teal and sage green leaves curling around each other, tiny clustered buds filling the gaps between the bigger blooms. Nothing is left bare. Theres no visible background inside the paw at all because the botanicals tile edge to edge. Five colours only, and the restraint is exactly right because the detail does all the work.

Five colours suprised me when I first saw the stitch-out because of how complex it actually looks. The density is where the visual richness comes from. At 76k stitches on the biggest size this is a dense piece and professional digitising software packed the floral fills with short satin columns on the daisy petals and tatami on the leaf surfaces. The paw outline uses a clean satin edging that holds the silhouette crisp even on the smaller 3.37-inch sizes where the inner flowers get tight. Ive been hooping this on linen and its genuinely gorgeous, the texture of the fabric suits it perfectly.

Vet clinics and pet groomers have been picking this one up a lot recently. One customer last february had the 5-inch stitched on her mobile dog grooming van uniforms, shirts and aprons in matching sage and pink, her clients wouldnt stop asking where the embroidery came from. Also popular with pet loss memorial pieces, people have been buying it to stitch on a keepsake pouch or a small cushion in their pets memory. I treat those orders with extra care personally.

Use a firm cutaway stabiliser, the density demands solid backing or youll get distortion in the outer toe pads. Hoop on white, cream or natural linen for maximum contrast. Pair the 7-inch on a tote bag front or a cushion cover, the 3.37-inch on a small pouch or shirt pocket. Skip dense fleece or thick terry here because the fine leaf detail needs a tight weave to read cleanly. Pick a slow stitching speed for the outer edging or the toe pads lose their shape. Lovely piece. Done.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
