Cartoon boy in a soft blue tee kneeling on the ground, both arms wrapped tight around a golden retriever's neck. The dogs head tilts up, eyes closed, mouth slightly open, just leaning right into it. Boys eyes are closed too with a big grin lifting his cheeks. You can tell the kid loves that dog. I wanted snapshot energy, not a stiff portrait, more like somebody caught the moment on a sunday.

Warm storybook palette, golden yellow and tan running through the retrievers coat with subtle highlights catching along the fur ridges. Boys tee sits in pale blue, peachy skin tones, messy yellow hair on top. I kept outlines clean black so it dont blur on smaller sizes when youre stitching it onto a onesie or bib.

15 thread changes total, density hits 886 spm so the fills lock down dense. Stitch count tops at 41,244 on the largest. Use a heavy cutaway stabiliser, the retriever body and the tee both carry alot of fill and the underlay matters. Skip super stretchy knits without proper backing, theyll buckle under that load.

Ive been getting messages from grandparents stitching gifts for grandkids who just got their first puppy. Last christmas a customer ordered the 6-inch and dropped it on a quilt block for her grandsons memory blanket, sent me photos that honestly suprised me with how warm it looked on cream cotton. Cartoon style sits sweet without going too cutesy, works for boys and girls both.

9 hoop sizes from 3.5 inches 7 in jumbo wide. Stitch on cream fleece, oatmeal cotton, soft grey jersey or pale denim. Run polyester thread, the gold tones hold warmth through wash cycles where rayon loses a touch of saturation. Pair the largest with a kids name script underneath for full keepsake energy.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
