Gnome designs do really well in the awareness niche and this breast cancer one is kinda really popular around october. Eleven colours, the hat is multiple pink shades going from a light blush at the tip down to a deeper rose at the base, and the gnome holds a pink ribbon front and centre. The beard is a chunky fluffy fill in white and grey, and the boots are a dark contrast to anchor the bottom of the figure.

Five sizes from 2.85 by 3.51 inches up to 6.09 by 7.51 inches, stitch count going from 17918 at the smallest up to 42725 on the 6 inch version. Thats a dense design, density at 934, so you want a stabiliser that can handle it. Use cutaway on any knit fabric. Add topping on any loop-surface material or the smaller colour zones blur. The underlay sequences hat sections first so follow that order and the colour layering works as digitised.

A customer ordered this last october for a breast cancer awareness walk fundraiser, she did the 5-inch design on pink cotton tote bags and said one of her customers on the day actually stopped to ask if it was hand-painted. Thats the 11-colour blending doing its job. Stitch the hat first, then beard, then boots and ribbon details as the customising sequence matters for how the colours sit cleanly. Pop this on a pink tote, a sweatshirt, or a seasonal cushion and the ribbon reads clearly even at the smaller 3 inch size. Skip any basting frame on stiff canvas, just a firm hoop and cutaway is enough.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
