Big bold sunflower, face-on view, petals spread out full, and around it three butterflies caught mid-flight. One of em is landing on a lower petal, wings just touching down, the other two are orbiting at different heights. Its got a dense brown tatami fill at the centre with seed texture visible, the petals are golden yellow with directional satin stitching that sweeps outward so each petal has depth to it. Honestly the butterfly wing veining is what Im most proud of on this one, charcoal grey detail lines through the cream and rust wings catch light differently to the filled sections.
Eight colours in the file: golden yellow, deep brown, olive green, cream, soft orange, warm rust, pale lemon, charcoal. Seven sizes from 5.51 to 8.51 inches wide, its a big design and even the smallest sits at 5.51 inches, so this is built for large hoops on garments or home goods. Stitch counts run 36,906 to 59,639, its dense by design because the botanical illustration style needs that density to hold petal gradations clean.
I get messages from garden centre gift shops every spring asking send me something for their summer tote bag range, this is the one I point them toward. One customer ordered 40 prestitched patches last june for their plant nursery, said customers grabbed them off a display rack faster than she expected. The sunflower plus butterflies combo is popular in that market, people connect it to actual pollinator gardens which is its own big thing at the moment.
Stitch on natural linen, cream canvas, or soft white cotton for the most botanical-print feel. The golden yellows and olive green read beautifully on oatmeal and sand tones. Avoid black or dark navy, those sunflower yellows get muddy and you lose the butterfly detail. Use cutaway stabiliser on everything at this stitch count, even stable woven cotton. Hoop firmly or the dense centre fill will drag.
Add water-soluble topping on any textured surface like terry or waffle, the butterfly veining is the finest detail in the file and it needs a clean surface. Email me if the colours need adjusting for a different palette and ill put together a custom colour sequence for your order.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
