Knocked out this bunny decorating the christmas tree piece for the holiday animal collection and honestly its been one of the favourites. A tan brown rabbit stands up on its hind legs in a soft blue knit sweater, reaching up to place a golden yellow star right on top of a small fir tree.
The bunny fur uses directional satin fills so the body actually has shape, not just a flat brown blob. Pink shows through inside the ear, the sweater has knit row texture and the tree has cream pom pom ornaments tucked into proper fir needle branches. Sweet detailed storybook feel.
One customer made a set of christmas stockings for her sisters three kids last year using this on the cuff of each one, sent me a thank you note in january. The smallest at 11k stitches works on baby bibs, the 37k largest hits on hoodies and pillow fronts. Seven colours total, including that bright yellow for the star.
Best on light to mid tone fabrics so the tan body and the green tree both read clean. Cream, oatmeal, dusty pink, sage green and heather grey all hold the design well. Skip very dark fabrics, the brown rabbit body will sink into navy or black. Thats just how it goes with warm tones on cool backgrounds.
Pop a layer of medium tearaway under woven cotton, swap to a cutaway stabiliser for jersey baby clothes. Hoop carefully, the tree star sits right at the top edge so leave enough margin above when you mark your placement. Its a tight one to get centred.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
