Two bunnies, one big and one very tiny, sat right next to each other like its the most natural thing in the world. The cute bunny mama takes up most of the frame, shes got those big kawaii eyes with blue irises and bright white highlight dots, long lashed lids, rosy cheeks and a tiny red heart stamped on her forehead. Her fur is that soft blue-grey youre probably picturing, the one that looks like a plush toy from a gift shop. Inner ears are a warm dusty pink. Baby bunny tucks in low at her side, smaller copy of the same face, same colouring, same little blush circles.

And the stitch work on this one is genuinely dense. Nine colours across both figures, 51,000 stitches on the largest size and a density of 1,081 stitches per square inch. Thats a lot for a kawaii design. Fills out a smooth satin body with directional fill on the ears so each one reads differently than the body fur. Mama's fluffy tail fans out at the back with a short looping fill that gives it a real pom texture. Baby's got a tiny ruff of fur at the collar too. I get a lot of orders for this one from people doing nursery sets, its been a steady one.

Sizes run from 2.94 by 3.5 inches up to 6.3 by 7.5. Use a medium to heavy cutaway stabiliser. Float a piece of solvy on top if youre going onto minky or velboa, the dense fur texture means the satin fill will sink if you dont. Run it at around 600 SPM so the body fills lay flat. Skip dark fabric, the blue-grey fur and pink cheek detail both vanish against navy or charcoal.

Last spring someone did a whole matching set, onesie, bib and hoop, all three came out really well together. White, cream, soft grey or pastel mint are your best bets for background colour.

  • Easter basket liner embroideryStitch the smallest size on a fabric Easter basket liner so the bunnies peek out when the basket is loaded with treats
  • Baby blanket corner accentAdd the 3-inch to the corner of a white cellular baby blanket as a sweet finishing touch for a handmade newborn gift
  • Personalised onesie for newborn giftsUse the 4-inch on a plain white onesie for a personalised newborn gift that feels hand-made rather than shop-bought

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
