Two monarch butterflies on a vine that curls vertically up the design. The upper butterfly sits near the top, wings open, and the lower one is a bit bigger and faces a different direction. Between em and wrapping around the stem are those pointed, serrated leaves and little purple berry dots scattered along the vine like berries about to drop. Its got a real botanical print feel, like something out of a nature journal from the 1800s but stitched instead of drawn.

Six colours: dark green for the vine and leaves, purple for the berry dots, and then 3 shades of orange building from that warm peach-orange base through the mid burnt orange into a darker brown for the wing detail lines. The wing fills use directional stitching to follow the wing shape, which is what gives em that iridescent look when light hits the fabric at an angle. 9 sizes, 6,066 stitches on the smallest at 3.51 inches wide, up to 12,248 stitches on the largest at 7.51 inches wide.

Density is 462 total, professional embroidery software digitising, so the leaf satin fill has proper underlay and wont bunch up on medium-weight cotton. Email me if youre wanting to swap the purple berries for a pink or red colourway. Last summer a customer ordered a set of these for linen tea towels and swapped the purple to dusty rose and it was a completely different design energy.

Best on white, cream, natural linen, or pale sage fabric. Add medium cutaway behind on cotton and linen base cloths. Hoop tight because the vine curling through the centre has thin satin-stitch segments that need the fabric held flat. Pair it on napkins, tote bags, cushion panels, or quilt blocks where the tall rectangular layout fills the hooped area nicely. Email me if youre planning a colourway swap and want advice on thread matches for the purple dot accents or butterfly wings.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
