Two butterfly wings set side by side so the tops meet and the outer curves sweep down into the bottom point of a heart. You look at it and your brain registers both things at once, butterfly and heart, and neither one cancels the other out. Its kinda clever without trying too hard.
Runs in single colour so youre not fighting thread changes mid-stitch. The wing surfaces use tatami fill for that textured fabric-like look, and the vein lines on the wings are done with a tight satin column that catches the light differently from the fill. That contrast is what gives the wings their detail even though its all one thread. On the largest 7.49-inch size the stitch count hits 25246 and on the smallest 3.48-inch version its 8363. Digitised in my software so the density and direction are properly set up.
Pick your thread colour and the whole personality changes. Coral on natural linen reads warm and vintage. Ivory on ivory twill gives you a tone-on-tone wedding piece. Burgundy on cream cotton goes slightly dramatic. I had a customer do it last valentines day in gold thread on a navy evening bag and she sent photos, genuinely stunning result.
Hoop on a medium cutaway stabiliser for wovens, the density needs proper backing especially on the larger sizes. Pop the small 3.5-inch onto a shirt cuff or collar for a subtle accent. Use the big 7-inch size on a cushion front or a tote. Skip stretchy fabrics here, the satin columns need stable ground to lie flat and the fill wont pucker.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
