Two concentric rings make the circle, and running along the inner ring theres a trail of small solid hearts evenly spaced all the way round. Two butterflies anchor the frame, one large one sitting at the bottom with wings spread wide and a smaller one resting near the top right. Theyre monarch-style with detailed wing markings, spots near the edges and gentle curved lines through the middle of each wing panel. Its all single thread, no colour changes at all, which honestly makes hooping and alignment a lot simpler.
Five sizes starting at 3.5 x 3.51 inches and going up to 7.49 x 7.51 inches. Stitch counts run from about 7,342 up to 15,445 so even the largest size isnt especially dense. I digitised the wing detail using directional stitching so the veins read clearly without packing too many stitches into those narrow sections. Drop a cutaway stabiliser under knits and fleece since the satin outlines on the butterfly wings can pull a bit on stretchy fabric.
The centre is completely blank, thats the whole point really. Add a monogram, a name, a date, whatever you need. Customers use it as a ready-made frame for personalisation work and I get messages about it mostly from people doing wedding gifts and anniversary pieces. Last month a customer told me she stitched the 7-inch size on linen tote bags for a bridal party of 8, one initial per bag, and it turned out really well.
Try it on white cotton or cream linen for the cleanest look. Skip dark navy or black fabric unless you plan to use a contrasting thread colour. Use a topping on terry cloth or velvet so the heart row stays sharp. Drop me a line if you need anything adjusted and Ill get back to you.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Monogram frames for personalised wedding and anniversary giftsThe 7-inch size leaves about 3 inches of blank center, enough for a 3-letter monogram in a medium script font.
- Bridal party tote bags with individual initials inside the blank centerUse the chest-5 in on the main panel of a canvas tote, the hearts and butterflies frame nicely without crowding the bag.
- Baby name hoops for nursery decor on cotton or linenStitch on white or ivory linen and add a name in a hand-lettered font for nursery wall art.
- Valentine's Day cushion covers with a name or date centeredThe 5-inch size fits standard 14x14 pillow inserts well, centered with room for a short date or phrase.
- Personalised makeup pouches and cosmetic bagsUse the chest-3.5 on zipper pouch fronts, the blank center holds a single initial cleanly.
- Hand towel borders with initials for bathroom giftsStitch on a 16x27 inch hand towel panel centered about 2 inches from the hem for a classic gift look.
- Framed hoop art with a meaningful word stitched in the centerMount on an 8-inch wooden hoop with a word or short phrase stitched inside for a wall display.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
