Its a single-colour black heart outline, 6 sizes from 2 to 7 inches, and the way its put together is alot more considered than it looks. The heart itself isnt a perfect symmetrical blob. Left side pulls into two long trailing strokes that sweep down and taper off like someone lifted the pen mid-flourish. Six butterfly silhouettes sit along the right arc, biggest one near the top, smallest near the bottom, graduated in size so the whole thing reads like theyre mid-flight coming off the frame. Single colour, all black, 1 thread change total.
The digitising here relies on satin fills for the butterfly bodies and variable-width satin column work on the heart outline strokes. Thinner at the tips, fatter through the curves. I ran the underlay tight so the outline stitches sit flat on fabric without pulling. Stitch count runs from 2,940 on the 2-inch up to 12,919 on the 7-inch, so even the biggest size stays well inside what a regular home machine handles in one hooping without drama.
I get messages from yoga studio owners and wellness shops about this one alot. One customer ordered it last november for fleece hoodies shed made for her whole team and sent me photos of them hung up in the studio. The black on sage green fleece looked realy nice. But its also just a tote bag design, a tea towel corner, a pillow. Simple designs like this one tend to travel alot.
Pop it on cream linen for a framed hoop gift. Use a good tearaway stabiliser on woven fabric, switch to cutaway if youre stitching onto jersey or knit. Avoid dark charcoal or black base fabrics because the single-colour thread disappears. White, oatmeal, blush, sage, or pale lavender all work well. And keep the hoop tension snug because the long swooping strokes on the lower left will shift if the fabric has any slack in it.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
