Heres the butterfly swirl trio. Three red and yellow butterflies arranged diagonally across the design with long curving navy blue and orange trail swirls flowing behind them like motion lines. Looks like the butterflies just caught a wind gust and the swirls are showing where they came from. The butterfly bodies themselves are pretty small, its the trail swirls that take up most of the visual space.

Theres 6 colour stops, the navy blue swirls hit the highest stitch count at almost 4,700 stitches, then the yellow wing fills come second around 3,000. Red wings, orange swirl accents, brown body shading and a small amount of black for the outlines round out the palette. Density runs around 465 stitches per square inch so it sits comfortable on tee fabric without going stiff.

Realy lovely on spring tote bags and summer tees. I get atleast 5 orders a month on this one once March hits, mostly from garden centres and florists running their own apparel. One customer ordered 20 of these last May for a butterfly themed kids birthday party, she put each one on a different colour cotton drawstring favour bag.

Comes in 5 3.5 through to top reaching 7.5-in wide, the small one looks sweet on a chest pocket and the larger ones fill a tote panel or hoodie front. Stitch on cotton, linen, denim, canvas or jersey. Use tearaway behind cotton and linen, switch to cutaway for any jersey or stretch knit. Skip the smallest size on heavy canvas, the swirl detail will get muddy. Press from the reverse only.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
