Grumpy mallard duck waddling under Call Me Antisocial, made because the whole introvert-humor thing has legs and I couldnt find a version with actual personality behind it. This slate grey duck is fully committed. Its wearing a huge pair of pink sunglasses with aqua lenses, holding a pink retro phone receiver up to its beak, and staring you down. Above it in block text: Call me antisocial. Below, same weight: But please dont call me. Four-pointed sparkles scattered around like a lo-fi sticker come to life.

The plumage is a slate grey with white chest fill, orange beak, golden feet. The glasses are the centrepiece really, satin columns in pink with those aqua-filled lenses, thats a custom colour not many designs bother with. 9 colours, 9 sizes. Smallest is 2.46 inches wide at 20,852 stitches, biggest goes to 5.27 by 7.51 inches at 46,526. Hoop flat and use cutaway stabiliser because the text is the densest element. Dark cotton is where this lives, white or pale fabric softens the impact noticeably.

I get a surprising number of orders from people making gifts for introverted friends. One buyer last september wrote to say she hooped the 4.5-inch on a black cotton hoodie for her sister who genuinely does not answer her phone, ever, and it was the most accurately described birthday present she ever gave. Thats the kind of thing that makes this worth digitising properly.

Black or charcoal cotton is where this design lives. The aqua lenses and pink glasses frame pop hard on dark fabric, the white chest reads clean, the orange beak sings. On white fabric it still works but the grey plumage fades a bit. Stitch it on black cotton first if youre unsure, ya wont regret that call. Pair it with a plain back panel so the design carries the whole garment. On jersey or twill dial down the machine speed for the text sections. Email me if you want a text-only version without the duck, I can probably sort that.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
