This little capybara is as round and friendly-faced as you'd expect. Its cartoon style, the body is simplified into a soft chunky shape with a calm expression that just looks content with everything. I love that capybaras have become such a cultural moment and this design captures exactly why people find them so endearing. Simple clean lines, nothing fussy, and it reads instantly as a capybara which is harder to pull off than it sounds with an animal that doesnt have obvious defining features like a cat or dog.

Available in multiple sizes to fit different placements. The stitch count is relatively low because the design is mostly outline and simple fill without heavy detail work. Tearaway stabiliser handles this well on most fabrics. For fleece or stretchy fabrics where kids items often end up, use cutaway to keep the shape stable after repeated washing.

Kids absolutely love this one. Backpacks, fleece jackets, and pencil pouches are the most popular requests I see. A parent got in touch after stitching it on her sons backpack and said he insists on bringing it to show-and-tell. Thats exactly the reaction you want from a kids design. Works on adult items too for anyone who just appreciates the capybara vibe, which is a lot of people right now.

Message me a chat note if the file isnt stitching out as expected and Ill sort it out fast.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
