Stitched out the full carousel, the whole thing top to bottom. Conical striped canopy in red and white panels sits at the top, a small yellow flag at the peak. Six large daisy medallions ring the canopy edge, each one a sunflower-style burst in orange-gold, and they space evenly so the whole design feels balanced. Four golden horses hang on poles below the canopy, simple stylised silhouettes with flowing yellow manes that read clearly at distance even on the smaller sizes. Platform base is a solid gold-yellow slab with a row of small red detail dots along the rim.

Seven colours total and the red, the white, the yellow and the gold each do a lot of heavy lifting across this carousel composition so theres not a lot colour-stops per section. Density comes in at 789 stitches per square inch, this is the densest design in the carousel group, and the large size reaches 39,350 stitches. Stick to a medium-to-heavy cutaway stabiliser, use a sharp 75/11 embroidery needle and slow your machine speed down a notch on the canopy fills if your machine has a tendency to skip on tight density work.

Sizes are 3.1 by 3.51 up to 6.64 by 7.51 inches, so five options from a small patch all the way to a full cushion-front design. Digitised in digitising tools, so the stitch density across the canopy panels is consistent, which matters when youre filling large red sections where uneven density shows up as patchy satin. A customer who does kids room decor stitched the large version on a oat pillow cover last november and said the bold red and yellow reads like a vintage fairground poster print. Run the small version on a pale cotton tote for a nursery-themed gift that costs almost nothing to make. Avoid very dark fabrics on the horses section, the gold manes lose definition on black or charcoal backgrounds. Use a topping on any textured fabric so the canopy stripes stitch in clean parallel lines. Email me if there are missed stitches around the canopy stripe joins and ill re-send a corrected file.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
