Cartoon alligator, wide and low, the whole body stretched out horizontal with his mouth open and those chunky white teeth on full display. The body's built from 8 colors, a few different shades of green, blue tint through the belly, fresh pine dark green doing the scale detail lines across the back, and a little red and pink inside the open jaw. It looks like something from an animated show, the kind of character kids clock immediately and want on everything. Its got proper energy to it.

industry software mapped the satin columns on those teeth cleanly so each one reads as a separate shape. Tape a good tearaway stabiliser behind your fabric before you start, use light to medium tearaway on cotton, its enough for the stitch density here. Stitch count tops out at 14,132 at the 7-in size so it stitches fast, dont be suprised when the machine finishes quicker than you expect. The design is extra wide and short, 3.5 to 7.5wide across but only 1.23 to 2.62 inches tall, so skip square placements and put it on waistbands, cap fronts, hat brims or cuffs. Its a completely different shape to most designs and thats what makes useful.

One customer hooped this on a navy kids cap last christmas and texted images, the 4.5 inch file hugged the curved peak perfectly with nothing cut off by the brim edge. Thats exactly the placement its built for. Stitch it out and see for yourself. Message me if you need a file resent and Ill check in on it for you.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Kids baseball cap front panel or brim stripThe wide low shape fits a cap front panel or brim strip better than most animal designs.
  • Toddler tee shirt chest placementAt the 3.5-in build it sits perfectly centered on a toddler chest without crowding.
  • Baby onesie front panelThe low height means it clears the snap area on baby onesies with room to spare.
  • Waistband or cuff detail on kids trousersA waistband placement in the 4 inch range on kids joggers looks playful and fun.
  • Kids school bag or pencil casePencil case placement gives kids a talking point in class without being too loud.
  • Novelty tea towels and kitchen linenOn a white tea towel the green palette stands out and the character reads really clearly.
  • Iron-on patches for denim or canvasTearaway base holds the patch shape well after multiple washes if applied correctly.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
