Cute cartoon tabby cat standing upright on its hind legs, round and chubby, orange body with proper crosshatch stripe detailing in brown and black. One paw raised in a wave, the other holding a tiny red heart balloon on a thread that floats above its head. Big round eyes with a grey ring, small pink nose, little red mouth curled into a grin. Its the kind of cat design that appeals to actual cat owners, not just kids, it has that kooky charm that works on adults alot of the time too.
13 colours sounds like alot but the machine steps through them cleanly. The orange fill, white belly section, brown stripe markings, grey eye rings, red heart, and all the face detail colours come together without any fussiness in the density. At 1,273 stitches per square inch the fill is proper and tight, no gapping on any of the colour sections. Kitten and feline pet owners respond to this character because it captures that smug adorable thing tabbies do so well.
Drop this on a white or pale grey tee for the most colour pop, the warm orange reads well against neutral fabric. Also looks great on pale pink which brings out the heart balloon nicely. Hoop a firm woven stabiliser underneath, the density on the face section especially benefits from a proper base. Avoid dark navy or black as the fill thins out where dark fabric shows through. the chest-size 3.5 fits a front pocket perfectly, the 5.5 sits well centred on a childs chest.
Last valentines season I stitched a batch of these on white linen pouches as cat-themed gift bags, people keep ordering them as ready-made presents for cat lover friends. They shifted fast. Drop it on a canvas zip bag, a tote, or a plain sweatshirt and its sellable stuff at a market table.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
