This lil grasshopper is sitting up real proud, head tilted, those enormous round eyes catching the light like its posing for a school photo. Wide grin, long antennae swept back, front legs raised just slightly like its mid-conversation. Its got that kinda confidence only a cartoon bug can pull off. The body segments are rounded and smooth, and the back legs fold naturally so the whole shape reads well even at the smallest 2.48-inch height.
2 colours only, dark green body and black outlines, with some lighter grey-green fill on the belly panels. Simple palette but professional digitising software ran the digitising really clean so each segment gets its own tatami fill direction, which stops the whole thing looking flat and boring. 9 3.5 through to top wide down to a tiny 2.48-inch version. Stitch count is 9,794 at the smallest size and just under 22k at the largest, so its a friendly workload for any machine.
I get alot of messages from primary school teachers who want something non-scary for science and nature classroom aprons. Last week a teacher from kent messaged asking if she could print the design preview for a show-and-tell board before she even ordered. This one is genuinely the least threatening insect in the range lol. Reach me a note if you need it paired with a name underneath and Ill point ya to the right way to layer text.
Stitch this on bright colours and it sings. Lime green cotton tees, yellow canvas totes, white onesies. Avoid dark backgrounds because that green body tone disappears into navy or black. For stable wovens use a light tearaway stabiliser, and on jersey or knit fabric go for cutaway so the segmented body stays crisp after washing. Drop me a chat message if the antenna lines lift off the base and Ill rework the underlay.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
