Cartoon owl sitting on a curved branch, both feet gripping it, facing straight out at ya with those big round yellow eyes. The body has layered feather stitching, its not just a flat colour fill, so theres visible depth in the chest, the wing edges, the head cap. The beak is a lil triangular point below the eye circles and the whole face has that friendly wide-awake look that makes owls work so well as subjects.
11 colours to work through, brown and tan body tones, orange feet, the branch browns, yellow eyes with black centres, small light accent fills. Its a bird design with eleven colour changes to manage, density sits at 753, and the stitch count goes from 16,868 at the smallest to 39,179 at the large 7.5 inch size. Use a good cutaway stabiliser to keep the stitching from distorting on fabric with any give.
A customer last autumn batched this for nursery sets and woodland-theme rooms. One customer made a set of three wildlife creatures for her sons bedroom wall this past october, this owl plus a fox and a deer, all in matching hoop frames on natural linen. Looked really cohesive.
Stitch it on natural linen, cream cotton, warm oatmeal canvas. Those earthy tones make the brown colouring look richer. Skip stark white if youre going for that warm woodland feel, the natural fabrics really bring out those autumn shades.
Pop it in a 6 or 7 inch hoop for wall art. Centre it on a childs shirt at the chest 4.5 for a woodland birds theme that works through the cooler months. The feather detail holds up at smaller sizes for pocket placements too.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
