Sketched this out over the Easter weekend a couple years back and it's turned into one of my most reordered kids designs. The rabbit stands upright, ears flopped to the sides like theyre kinda too big for his head, which is what gives it that kawaii charm. Cream white body fill, dusty pink ear inner sections, black bead eyes, tiny nose detail. Its a simple silhouette but theres alot going on at the 5.11-inch size where the ear and eye highlight detail really shows.

Eight colours make up the file: cream base, dusty rose ear panels, warm grey shading on the body sides, black eyes, nose brown, white eye highlight, a soft charcoal outline, and a blush tail puff. Stitch counts go from 3,414 at 1.4 inches up to 18,584 at the largest 5.11-inch hoop. Density sits at 661 which is moderate so it plays nicely on lighter fabrics without excessive pull. Back with mid-weight cutaway and keep your bobbin tension consistent through the ear sections.

A customer sent me a photo last week of this on a pastel pink onesie for her daughters second birthday and it was genuinely sweet. The cream on pink reads softly, its exactly what you want for baby gear. I digitised this in professional tools and the satin fill on the ear panels has directional runs that follow the ear shape rather than just going straight across, so the sheen catches light properly.

Pop it centred on a onesie chest or the front bib zone of an apron. Pair on pale pink, butter yellow, or soft mint ground fabrics. Run the small 1.4 inch chest on a hair clip base or a small pocket pouch. Avoid black or very dark fabric as the cream fill needs light contrast to read properly.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Baby onesies and rompers for Easter or springThe 3-inch version sits well on a onesie chest without crowding the snap zone at the bottom.
  • Toddler birthday party shirtsMatching 4 shirts for a small birthday party is easy since the 8 colour file machines consistently across batches.
  • Nursery pillow covers and crib quiltsA 5-inch rabbit looks proportional centred on a standard 14x14 pillow panel.
  • Hair clip bases and small fabric accessoriesThe 1.4-inch file hoops flat on most clip bases with a small wooden or acrylic frame backing.
  • Cotton bibs and aprons for toddlersCream and dusty pink read cleanly against white bib cotton without any colour bleed.
  • Canvas zip pouches and kids pencil casesThe small size also fits a pencil case exterior panel without stitching into the zip track.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
