The cat decided the wall was optional. Its face fills the broken hole, head tilted slightly forward, those amber and orange ears up, one front paw reaching through below the face like the face alone wasnt enough of a statement. The eyes are the feature, two wide golden-orange circles with black pupils that honestly look a bit suprised to be seen. Around the break, cracks run out in all directions like the cat just walked through at full speed and kept going.

Eleven colours and the fur is where all the stitch time goes. digitising tools digitised the grey and silver tabby markings using short directional satin runs so the coat actually has texture. The warm amber patches around the ears and nose need their own colour pass to stay separate from the grey. The dark charcoal fill with black satin column lines over it for the wall cracks reads well even at at smaller 3.5 size. Nine sizes from 3.49 to 7.49 inches wide, heights up to 6.65 inches.

Run it on mid-grey, white, cream or pale sage fabric. The crack detail reads best on anything lighter than mid-grey. Avoid very dark or navy ground since you lose the wall crack lines. Back it with knit-friendly cutaway, 77k stitches at the largest size needs anchoring properly. Hoop tight and run at normal speed, the directional fur wont drift if the hoop is solid.
