This one surprised me last march when I was digitising it, the density came out at 1,327 stitches per square centimetre, which is on the higher end, but it gives the cat's fur this genuinely tactile quality you dont get with lower-density fills. Stitch counts go from 21,623 at the chest piece up to 52,029 at the 5.22-inch width, so plan for a longer run time; recieved a few messages from customers who underestimated that. Nine sizes in total. Two colours: charcoal-black and cream-white.
Because the density is this high you really need a sturdy cutaway stabiliser, dont try tearaway on this one, it wont hold the hoop flat through that many stitches. A medium-to-heavy cutaway on stable wovens like cotton twill or denim, or a firm cutaway on knit jersey. Slow your machine speed down abit for the fur sections, especially at the larger 5.22-inch size where the directional satin sequences are longest. Use a 90/14 needle on heavier fabric. The bobbin tension matters here, if the underside looks loopy on your test stitch, tighten bobbin tension before running the full piece.
I get messages fairly often from people who put this on cat-lover gift totes and sweatshirts and say it recieved compliments before they even finished hooping for the next colour. One stitch-out. Two colours. Done. The butterfly detail at the top reads clearly even at the 2.43-inch smallest width, which suprised me when I ran my first test, the vein lines in the wings hold up well because of how the underlay is laid under the satin fills in industry software.
Text me, or leave an order note, if you want the cat colour swapped to match a specific thread and Ill see what works.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
